Tisa: "It all started when I was about 6 years old. My father was trying to teach me how important is to be creative. One day I saw this toy on a TV that I liked, so I asked him if I could have the advertised toy; but he kept explaining and dragging like a broken record about creativity, books, wooden toys, eco-friendly etc... Then I said: Hey, pumpkin, I'm six years old, as if I understand you? Wouldn't it really be easier to buy me that toy?!

So a few months passed when he really finally understood that I didn't understand him. One day he came up with the idea to back up his long-winded "babbling" with a real project, but soon it got stuck, as we didn't have an idea or a product for the further development of the project. It wasn't long before we noticed that my father was spending quite a bit of time in his office. With interest, I entered the room one day while he was lost in his world. He was really all messed up with paint, glue and the chunks of cuted wood were everywhere. "What are you doing?" I asked him. He was happy with my question and explained everything about the tools he bought. He also enthusiastically explained to me about the fingerboard itself and its manufacturing processes - I must mention that he is a skateboarder, so let say I trusted him on this one. From that moment on, the things he explained to me started to interest me a little more. That's how I got involved in the project myself. I immediately went down to business and started gluing the boards. I really like to create, that's why I also designed and drew eight abstract motifs, which now decorate our boards.

We made quite a few test fingerboards and after many failed attempts we finally found the right material. So we made a small sea of this small boards. We also took care of the overall graphic design and packaging for our product. But since everyone in the family knows that my father is more "lefty" when it comes to marketing and social networks, my golden mother came to the rescue, who thought it would be nice to share our experience with you. Huuray, our little project has come to life. Of course, not to forget my brother. He is responsible for checking the quality and durability of our decks... and believe me, he is a real little expert. He always finds new ways to test the decks to the extreme."

VISION

Me and my brother Tim, who is not yet aware of everything, as he is still a baby, want our little T&T Fingerboards project to really come to life.  We wish that people would spend time more often together indoor or outdoors. And above all, to spend less time in front of screens.

Well, my father is "the man" anyway, because now he finally listens to me and does as I say.
He says that with this "awesome" project, we will gain a great foundation to our life journey.

Thank you and fingers regards,
Tisa with the T&T team
